Awakening the weald
Driving wood to splinter

Upon those frozen cliffs
Those hounds lead their troupe
Forever roaming the ice
Masters of their new domain

The blood roils
As screams pierce the cold
Muscles spasm
Compelling creature to throes

Whipping beast to frenzy
In a maddening haste
As all take to the hills
To escape this frigid wraith

Alarming the weald
Spurring bone to motion

Winding into that glade, bearing the silent storm that it has wrought
Whorl of unseen bones that glisten as fear in those that this forest dwell

Ascending animals
Spurned in fright
Embracing altitude
Shelter among the alpine ice

Following those loping canis maximus they rise

That banshee of revolution
Prying through the thicket
In search of lodges dark

Foreboding delta
Omen in ice
Dethroning winds
Violence in fate

Upon those frozen cliffs
Those hounds lead their troupe
Forever roaming the ice
Masters of their new domain

On snowcapped promontories
Those canines howl as kings
Winter spirits on the prowl
Over the mountains they now reign
